Promotion Terms
Last updated May 16, 2026
If you received a promotional code or credit from us, these terms describe how it works.
Specific offer details (the discount, the timing, the eligible services) are communicated at the time the offer is made, through email, text or our booking flow. This page covers the structural rules that apply to every promotion.
1. General terms.
These rules apply to every promotional offer we make unless the offer's terms specifically state otherwise.
- One promotion per household. You may use one promotional code or credit per household, not per booking.
- New clients only, unless the offer specifically states existing clients are eligible.
- Cannot be combined with other promotional codes, credits, gift cards or active offers.
- Valid during the stated promotional window. Dates and durations are stated in the offer.
- Valid in our standard service area. Homes outside our standard service area or larger than 3,000 square feet may require a custom quote, in which case the offer applies to the discounted portion only.
- All bookings are subject to availability.
- A valid card on file is required to book any service that uses a promotional offer.
- The Haus Keepers reserves the right to modify, pause or end any promotion at any time, except for offers that have already been applied to a confirmed booking.
2. Recurring service requirement.
Most of our promotions are structured around new clients starting recurring service. When an offer is tied to recurring service, the following applies.
2.1 Minimum cleans
Recurring service requires a minimum of three completed cleans to fulfill the terms of the offer. The three cleans must be completed at the booked frequency (weekly, biweekly or every four weeks).
2.2 Charge-back if recurring service ends early
If recurring service is cancelled, paused for more than 60 days, or skipped three times in a row before the third completed clean, the original full-price rate on the discounted service will be charged to the card on file. The charge equals the difference between the full price and the promotional price.
This recovers the discount that was offered on the assumption that you would continue with recurring service. It is not a penalty for cancelling.
2.3 How to avoid the charge-back
Complete three cleans at the booked frequency. Once the third clean is done, the promotional pricing is fully earned and there is no charge-back even if you cancel afterward.
3. Bundle promotions.
Some promotions bundle two visits together (for example, a pre-event clean and a post-event clean). For these offers:
- Both visits must be scheduled at the time of booking.
- The second visit must be scheduled within the timeframe stated in the offer.
- If the second visit is cancelled after the first is completed, standard single-clean pricing applies retroactively to both visits. The difference will be charged to the card on file.
4. Bonus add-on promotions.
Some promotions include a bonus task or add-on service at no extra charge. For these offers:
- The bonus task must be selected at the time of booking.
- The bonus task cannot be substituted once the cleaning team has arrived.
- Bonus tasks are limited to a defined amount of additional labor time, stated in the offer.
5. Gift cards.
Gift cards work differently from promotional codes. They are a stored balance, not a discount.
- Gift cards do not expire.
- Gift cards may be used toward any service we offer.
- Gift cards are available in any denomination and may be purchased digitally.
- Digital gift cards are emailed to the recipient instantly upon purchase.
- Gift cards cannot be combined with active promotional codes on the same booking. The recipient may use the gift card on a future service at full price, or apply it after a promotional discount has been calculated.
- Gift cards are not redeemable for cash, except where required by state law.
- If a gift card balance covers only part of a service, the remaining balance is due as usual.
6. Referral credits.
Referral credits are earned when a person you refer books and completes their first service. The current referral terms (the credit amount, eligible services, timing) are stated in our referral program details, available through the client portal or by contacting us.
- Referral credits are issued after the referred client has completed and paid for their first service.
- Referral credits cannot be redeemed for cash and are non-transferable.
- Referral credits cannot be stacked with active promotional codes on the same booking.
- A referral does not count if the referred client cancels or disputes the service within 48 hours of completion.
- The Haus Keepers reserves the right to disqualify referrals that appear to be fraudulent or manipulated.
7. Promotional communications.
Promotional offers may be communicated through email, text message or our booking flow. To receive promotional communications:
- You must opt in to marketing emails or marketing text messages.
- Service-related messages (booking confirmations, reminders, scheduling updates) are sent regardless of marketing opt-in status.
- You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or replying STOP to any marketing text message.
8. Changes to these terms.
We may update these promotion terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a new last-updated date. Promotions that have already been applied to a confirmed booking are not affected by changes to these terms.
