4.1 Accurate Information
You agree to provide accurate home details, square footage, condition information, access instructions, and contact information to ensure proper quoting and service delivery.
4.2 Pricing & Adjustments
Pricing is based on the service type, home size, and home condition.
Final rates may be adjusted upon arrival if:
- The home requires significantly more time or labor than described
- The home condition differs from the booking description
- Additional services or upgrades are requested
4.3 Home Access Requirements
Clients must ensure that the home is accessible at the time of service.
We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel service if:
- The home is locked or inaccessible
- Unsafe or unsanitary conditions are present
- Pets prevent safe service
- Cleaners cannot reach the property due to incorrect address or entry instructions
4.4 No Liability for Personal Items
Please secure or remove valuables, fragile items, or sentimental belongings before your scheduled cleaning.
While our team is careful and respectful, we are not responsible for the loss or damage of personal items that are not properly stored or disclosed prior to service.
4.5 Reclean Policy (48-Hour Window)
At The Haus Keepers, your peace of mind matters. If something feels missed or not up to our standard, we’re here to help.
How Recleans Work:
- Clients must notify us within 48 hours of the completed service for any reclean request.
- Requests made after 48 hours fall outside our service guarantee, as daily activity and dust may affect conditions.

A reclean appointment will be scheduled based on availability and the nature of the issue.
Reclean Conditions
Recleans apply only to items or areas included in your original service.
A reclean may be declined if:
- The home was not in a reasonably maintained condition during the original cleaning
- New mess, activity, or buildup occurred after the service
- Areas of concern were not included in the booked service
- Requests are based on personal preference rather than missed tasks
5. Cancellations & Rescheduling
5.1 Cancellation Policy
To avoid cancellation fees, clients must cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.
Cancellations within 24 hours may result in a fee equal to:
- A flat cancellation fee, or
- A percentage of the scheduled service cost
Exact fees may vary and will be provided upon request.
5.2 Rescheduling
Rescheduling is subject to availability.
Short-notice reschedules (less than 24 hours) may also incur fees.
6. Safety & Working Conditions
To ensure the safety and efficiency of our team:
- Cleaners must not be asked to lift heavy furniture, handle biohazards, or operate unsafe equipment.
- Hazardous environments or abusive behavior may result in immediate service termination.
7. Payment Terms
Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Unpaid balances may result in late fees or service suspension.
8. Service Limitations
We do not:
- Clean areas requiring climbing above a 2-step ladder
- Move heavy furniture or appliances
- Clean exterior windows higher than ground level
- Remove mold, hazardous materials, or infestations
These limitations are for your safety and ours.
